The forum is expected to be the biggest ever and addresses the nuts and bolts of filmmaking including, “Why Rhode Island Is Right For Your Film” (perks, uniqueness, locations, resources and cutting red tape). “How To” sessions planned include Using the Rhode Island Film & Television Tax Credit, Basic Film & Entertainment Law, Technology in Post-Production, Film Financing & Distribution, Niche Films, Casting, Targeting Audiences and the tactics for reaching them and more.
The forum is open to anyone interested
in any aspect of filmmaking. Attendees
expected include aspiring filmmakers, artists, Filmmakers, Film Production
Crews, Film Students, Artistic Directors, Film Vendors, Civic Organizations,
Historic and Preservation Groups, Property Managers, Recreation Managers, Hotel
Managers, Rental Agencies and representatives of various Rhode Island Cities
& Towns.
